0:00 Never my heart wilt thou grow old. My hair is

0:09 white,

0:10 my blood runs cold. And one by one

0:17 my powers depart. But youth sits smiling in

0:22 my heart.

0:23 On hill the path of age. Oh, no! Up, up,

0:26 with patient steps I go. I watch the sky's

0:30 fast

0:31 brightening there. I breathe the sweeter,

0:35 purer air.

0:37 Beside my path a small task springs up.

0:39 Though but to hand the cooling cup speak the

0:43 true

0:43 word of hearty cheer. Tell the lone soul that

0:48 God is near.

0:49 Seat on my heart and grow not old. And when

0:52 thy pulses all are told,

0:55 Let me, though working,

0:56 loving still,

0:58 Kneel as I meet my maker's will.
